Every week, Fr. Michael, invites us to increase our intimacy with God through Centering Prayer.
Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, prayer in which we experience God's presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself. This method of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship.
This “apophatic” approach is a very strong current in our ancient Catholic tradition. It can help us be more sensitive to the voice and working of the Spirit in our lives, and increase our intimacy with God. It can also shower peace and calm upon our hearts.
Should you be interested in joining the group, just show up on Mondays, 7:30 – 8:45pm in the Grotto of Notre Dame. Newcomers are requested to arrive by 7:20 for some basic instruction.

The Cenacle of Life is a prayer group that prays two rosaries (ten mysteries) offering the rosaries with fasting. Each member fasts one day a week on bread and water, to end the culture of death. They offer up their fasts - at the prayer group - with the rosaries prayed.
Once a week, members gather for daily mass, prayer of the Rosary, benediction followed by an offering prayer and a second Rosary.
