The Church of Notre Dame is committed to serving the Sick and the Elderly, by bringing to them a pastoral presence and the sacraments.
Amsterdam Nursing Home: every Sunday at 9:30, a mass celebrated by a priest of the parish, with the help of volunteers.
St. Luke's Hospital: every day, a priest is on call for St Luke’s Hospital and available to visit patients. Three times a week, parish Eucharistic Ministers, who are also members of the Legion of Mary, bring the Sacrament to patients at St. Luke's. Personal request for relatives or friend who would like a pastoral presence can be made directly to the Rectory.
Home Visits: every first Friday of the month, sacraments of Reconciliation and/or Holy Communion can be brought to those not able to come to Mass because of illness, age, etc.
For St Luke’s Hospital and Home visit, please contact the Rectory.
